On June 11-13, 2010 we invite you to join us for Western Canada's Premier Race Weekend.
Held at the foot of the Canadian Rockies in Cochrane, Alberta, Canada, Footstock will play host to thousands of eager race participants, excited fans, and enthusiastic volunteers. A variety of fun and challenging races will unfold throughout the weekend beginning on Friday evening through Sunday afternoon.
Designed as a weekend getaway for fitness enthusiasts, you can join your favourite race, cheer on family and friends as they compete, enjoy the many special events planned within Cochrane and still find time to see the sights in Banff, Canmore, or Calgary which are all within an hour drive of Cochrane.
Footstock races will include a 5Km, 10Km, Half Marathon, Duathlon and Kids Triathlon. Most of the races will be run on Cochrane's unique red shale path system which winds along the banks of the beautiful Bow River and throughout the Town of Cochrane's path system. Race director Ann-Locke Pope says "it'll be an adventure you'll always remember!"
